The 19th Annual Casino Gaming Executive Satisfaction Survey was conducted by Bristol Associates, Inc. (www.bristolassoc.com) in partnership with Spectrum Gaming Group (www.spectrumgaming.com) in the fall of 2019. The survey is intended to be an annual resource for casino professionals to track the trends and overall viewpoints within their industry.
The 2019 survey received 1,847 unique responses from casino executives diverse in geography, executive responsibilities and years of experience. The majority of respondents are from across the U.S., while 4% were living and working internationally.
Out of 31 brick and mortar casino companies, Penn National Gaming received the 2019 title for top employer after receiving 21.01% of votes. Chart A shows the 2019 top five employers of first-choice votes. Seminole Hard Rock came in second place with 17.71% of votes. The two companies have battled for the top spot in the last five years, with Seminole Gaming holding the top employer title from 2015 through 2018. MGM Resorts International placed third and Wynn Resorts fourth, followed closely by San Manuel in fifth place. Each company in the top five of our survey has experienced expansion/physical growth as well as an increase in revenues for 2019.
