Aggregator
An aggregator in contemporary networking is a device or service provider that can consolidate multiple-type circuits or carrier services into an easy-touse, easy-to-manage single circuit. In other words, it was a term used in the context of: A company/person who represented themselves or services as a “consolidation facilitator.” The term is rarely used these days in the context it was originally designated to represent.
Channel Partner
A telecom channel partner is a company that partners with another organization (supplier) to market or sell their telecom services, products, or technologies. Typically, a channel partner is part of a vendor’s indirect sales force.
GPO
A GPO is an entity that is created to leverage the purchasing power of a group of businesses to obtain discounts from vendors based on the collective buying power of the GPO membership.
