They report having a difficult time filling lower-level positions (54%), higher-level roles (15%), or a variation of both (19%) at their organization.

The kind of employment offers and benefits that job seekers were willing to accept in the past have transformed since the pandemic hit. The current situation does not give companies much room to negotiate. And thanks to the Digital Age, professionals can research and be aware of the latest market trends for any location or industry. With this ability to access information instantaneously, job seekers have higher expectations and standards when applying for new opportunities. Employees also recognize that candidates are now in the metaphorical driver’s seat, making them question if they should take advantage and enter the market as a job seeker as well.
