By any measure, 2025 was a transformative and busy year for hospitality technology. Across casinos, resorts, hotels and entertainment properties, two disruptive technologies moved decisively from experimentation to enterprise deployment. I had the opportunity to travel and attend many conferences in 2025 and work with a few industry consultants to understand more what stakeholders and decision makers were talking about in regard to enhancing guest experience as well as lowering costs and increasing service scores. Sit back, grab a beverage and let’s go back and review the year and if hospitality has made a pivot to the future.

Agentic AI and cloud-based platforms powered by AI are redefining how guest experiences are delivered, how operations scale, and how staff engage with technology. Using these solutions to begin delivering a “one-stop” shop, single guest itinerary is now possible for resort operators.
