Recent industry studies reveal deeply concerning trends. One widely cited report found that 99% of accountants reported experiencing burnout symptoms at some point in their careers. Additional research found accounting professionals are significantly more likely to report stress and burnout than workers in many other industries, while nearly three in ten reported experiencing panic attacks tied to work-related pressure.
