Like any organization, the Wrigley Casino has turnover, even within the Technology department. Recently one of the Support Desk Specialists (SDS) at the casino resigned resulting in the activation of the recruiting machine.
At Wrigley Casino, like much of the gaming industry, the SDS position is considered an entry-level position. The position is the person who is the front line of technology problems, be they password resets, moving or working on hardware, or power outages. The SDS is the first line of triage for the various requests for technology assistance and is the person answering the phone when calling Technology. Being an entry-level position, applicants are not expected to have any experience working with technology or the gaming industry.
