For those reading this article and haven’t yet had the experience of attending the annual G2E conference in Las Vegas, I hope the information in this article of the 2023 event will be helpful for you. If you are interested in this industry and reaching out to decision makers, suppliers and content creators who focus on gaming, hospitality and sports, then make your plans to attend in 2024. For many of us, we consider G2E the main event. Each year we come together to collaborate on technology and industry trends that have been developed over the past year and on display for the opportunity for a sales windfall from interested buyers. The week always begins with the Gaming & Leisure Roundtable golf outing. This year was no exception with technology leaders from many of the most well-known casinos and hospitality companies joining vendors and other industry influencers in this exclusive two-day think tank and networking event. For much of my career, the time I spent at the Roundtable and at the G2E conference was mostly focused on a set of objectives, relationship building, standing in a booth for three days and attending a party or two. Recently, not having a booth to spend my hours greeting prospects and customers or doing software demos, I have been able to explore all the different aspects of G2E on behalf of Gaming & Leisure including educational sessions, keynotes, interviews and, of course, the exhibit floor.
