Part four presents the findings of the research that was conducted within the state of Nevada.
Overview of Part Four
The current research extends the understanding of IoT technology acceptance among executive leadership within Nevada casinos. This study’s thematic qualitative inquiry research sought to investigate the resistance to IoT adoption in Nevada casino environments. The study utilized the IoTTAM construct to understand critical factors that impact acceptance of adoption and to isolate potential rationales for reluctance in embracing emerging technological solutions
that enhance operational integrity. The research extends the understanding of the professional dilemma explained within the dissertation problem statement. The evidence uncovered by the interviews isolated an array of variables contributing to the lack of technology adoption in this specific professional environmental setting. The research sought to identify specific themes in the responses received from industry practitioners who acknowledged contributing to the resistance to adopting IoT technology within casino networks. The function of this section is to address the conclusions of the research study. Further the work examines potential implications. It commences with a summary of the results, followed by a review of the findings and the research extensions into professional practice. The section concludes with a discussion of the research’s limitations and recommendations for further research.
