The unique capabilities of the GAM (Gigabit Any Media) solution

Positron’s GAM (Gigabit Any Media) solution transforms existing in-building copper and coaxial infrastructure into a high-performance Gigabit Ethernet network capable of supporting modern IP-based applications. By leveraging their existing wiring, properties avoid the significant construction costs, operational disruption and downtime traditionally associated with installing new structured cabling.

For casino operators, the GAM provides a practical path to modernizing legacy gaming-floor infrastructure and support today’s advanced Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs), networked slot systems and other IP-based applications. Casino floors can be upgraded incrementally and during planned maintenance windows, helping operators maintain floor availability while increasing network capacity.

Across hotel and resort environments, Positron enables reliable connectivity for guest-room Wi-Fi, IPTV, streaming, digital signage, cameras, access control, smart-room technologies, building systems and other connected services. Positron’s hospitality solutions are the only Gigabit Ethernet over Coax and Copper products certified for use with major hotel brands and integrate with leading networking and Wi-Fi platforms.

Positron also offers the Virtuoso Element Management Solution (EMS), providing centralized visibility, provisioning and management of GAM deployments across individual properties or large multi-property environments. Virtuoso is designed operate as part of the private Casino Floor network. Virtuoso does not require Internet access, making sure a property management information is only accessible by approved members of the property Network Operations team and never leaves the private network infrastructure. A Casino should never rely on a 3^rd party vendor or staff to manage, operate and secure the Casino Floor network.
