HFTP Announces Availability of HITEC 2026 Registration and Hotel Reservation Site

January 8, 2026 (Austin, Texas) — Registration and hotel reservations are now available for the 2026 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®), the largest and longest-running, nonprofit event of its kind. Produced by Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), HITEC 2026 will be held on June 15–18 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas USA. HITEC brings together industry professionals from all over the world to explore the latest technology trends, best practices and market solutions in the hospitality industry. The exhibit hall hosts 370+ companies displaying a range of products and services to support the hospitality technology industry to nearly 6,000 industry professionals in attendance. Beyond the exhibition floor, HITEC features an education program featuring hospitality technology-focused content presented in a variety of formats by expert presenters. The program is planned by the HITEC Advisory Council, a group of industry practitioners selected by HFTP leadership for their experience and expertise. This year’s council is chaired by Lyle Worthington, CHTP, CEO of Worthington Tech BV and an HFTP Global Past President. “The advisory council creates the topics, develops and refines the sessions, evaluates and prepares every speaker, and even selects the keynotes. It is no small task,” says Worthington. “I’ve served on this council off and on since 2009, and this year I’m honored to take on the role of chair. I look forward to working with this exceptional group of industry experts to bring another great education program to you in San Antonio.” Returning in 2026 is the Entrepreneur 20X (E20X) startup pitch competition. E20X features ambitious start-ups presenting their innovative hospitality technology concepts to a room full of HITEC attendees and a panel of expert judges. Participants compete for the chance to be recognized as one of the top startup business concepts, voted on by the panel of expert judges (Judge’s Choice Award) and the audience (People’s Choice Award). The opportunity to apply for this year’s competition is available, with a March 31 submission deadline.
